Gender and Sexuality Glossary U-Z
This glossary is, by definition and nature, incomplete due to ever evolving definitions and separation of gender and orientation. The Garden is aware that there are many genders and orientations are not represented here due to population concentration and space available. However, if members wish specific definitions added, please send us a note and we will add it.
| Unicorn / Hot Bi Babe / HBB | A single, bisexual woman that begins a relationship with a married or committed couple. The presumption being that this person will date and become sexually involved with both members of that couple, and not demand anything or do anything which might cause problems or inconvenience to that couple |
| vaginoplasty | The surgical creation of a vagina. In MTF vaginoplasty, the skin of foreskin and penis is typically inverted to form a fully sensate vagina. A clitoris supplied with nerve endings can be formed from part of the glans of the penis. In cases of shortage of skin, or when a vaginoplasty has failed, a vaginal lining can be created from skin grafts from the thighs or hips, or a section of colon may be used. These linings may not provide the same sensate qualities as results from the penile inversion method, but the vaginal opening is identical. |
| Vapogender | a gender that sort of feels like smoke; can be seen on a shallow level but once you go deeper, it disappears and you are left with no gender and only tiny wisps of what you thought it was |
| Varioriented | When your sexual and romantic orientations do not target the same set of genders (for example being heteromantic and bisexual or being homoromantic and pansexual) |
| Venngender | when two genders overlap creating an entirely new gender; like a venn diagram |
| Verangender | a gender that seems to shift/change the moment it is identified |
| Vibragender | a gender that is usually one stable gender but will occasionally changes or fluctuate before stabilizing again. |
| vocal surgery | Because estrogen therapy leaves MTF voices unchanged, some transwomen choose to pursue surgery to alter their voices. This procedure carries the risk of impairing a trans woman's voice forever, so vocal surgery should be considered with caution. |
| Vocigender | a gender that is weak or hollow |
| Volit- | feeling attraction that is not directed at anyone in particular |

| Wolf | a gay male that is lean and muscular, semi hairy, of any age, Sexually aggressive; Silver or grey wolf is an older wolf |
| Woma- | feeling attraction to women |
| women who have sex with women / WSW | women who engage in same-sex behavior, but who may not necessarily self-identify as lesbians. |
| Xe/xem/xyr/xyrs | gender neutral pronouns - pronoun declension: Xe laughed / I called xem / Xyr eyes gleam / That is xyrs / Xe likes xemself |
| Ze (Zie)/hir/hir/hirs | gender neutral pronouns - pronoun declension: Ze laughed / I called hir / Hir eyes gleam / That is hirs / Ze likes hirself |
| Ze (Zie)/zir/zir/zirs | gender neutral pronouns - pronoun declension: Ze laughed / I called zir / Zir eyes gleam / That is zirs / Ze likes zirself |
| Ze / Hir / Hirs | Alternate pronouns that are gender neutral and preferred by some gender variant persons. Pronounced /zee/, /heer/, and /heers/, they replace "he"/"she," "him"/"her," and "his"/"hers," respectively. |
